Workpower leading the way according to latest Government ratings!

The latest Government performance ratings show why Workpower’s Employment Services are leading the way by continuing to offer an excellent range of employment services to job seekers and employers throughout Perth.

The latest set of star ratings were publicly released on Friday the 13th of May, and measure the relative performance of all disability employment service providers, up to the end of the March 2016 performance reporting period.

Workpower continued to show why it is a leading employment service in Western Australia with 5 of its 6 employment sites being rated as performing at or above the state and national performance benchmarks.

Workpower’s employment service comprises of two broad Employment Services Areas (ESAs)

  • The East ESA comprises of the locations Cloverdale, Cannington and Piara Waters.
  • The North ESA comprises of the locations Osborne Park, Malaga, Midland, Clarkson, Noranda and Middle Swan.

In the latest ratings, both ESA’s continued to perform strongly, with both ESA’s rating an overall 3 Stars.

Kathy Mellett, acting General Manager Employment Services, credits the results to the outstanding efforts of her team. ‘Our team of consultants work extremely hard, focusing always on creating opportunities for people with disability, and we are delighted to see this recognised in the latest ratings,’ said Ms. Mellett.

‘Our services in the North region continue to grow and over the past 3 years we have established new sites in Midland and Clarkson, complementing our services in Malaga and Osborne Park.  We have recently refurbished our Clarkson office and expect that this site will soon be performing as strongly as our other sites’.

‘The latest ratings reinforce that our many new clients, families and employers welcome our presence in their community.   We have developed fantastic partnerships with other service providers and work closely with our many loyal employers to provide the best service possible’.

‘It is exciting to see that our Malaga and Cloverdale sites recorded 4 Star ratings; placing those sites in the top tier of performers across Australia.  Workpower’s Cloverdale site is the best performing service of all providers in the East metropolitan region,’ said Ms Mellett.

Like to know more about the Star ratings

The minimum performance benchmark is 3 Stars: 80% of all Disability Employment Services will receive a rating of 3.  A rating of 1 or 2 Stars means the service is performing below the average performance of all providers.   Achieving a 4 or 5 Star rating indicate high performance.  The ratings are published as a guide for consumers and employers who may be more inclined to select a service that is a higher rating service.
